From 3 to 8 June, Dubai hosted another FAM Trip organised by the Abreu agency, with the participation of nine travel agents. The initiative was supported by Emirates and Dubai Tourism (DET), represented by Hugo Faria and Alexandra Pires, respectively.
For six days, participants divided their stay between the NH The Palm, on the iconic Palm Jumeirah, and the Millennium Plaza Downtown, in the city centre, exploring two perspectives of the local hotel industry. The programme included inspections and meals at iconic hotels, visits to attractions promoted by DET, such as: Al Shindagha Museum, Museum of the Future, the Burj Khalifa and the observatory The View at the Palm.
There was also time for remarkable cultural experiences: making personalised chocolates at the Mirzam Chocolate Factory, visiting the Al Farooq mosque, and discovering the souks and Dubai Creek with a ride on an abra, a traditional boat. During the trip, the agents also had time for leisure on the beach and a desert safari, followed by dinner at a Bedouin camp, a memorable farewell to a destination in constant renewal.
