Just a few days before the start of the Thailand Festival 2025, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) hosted a luncheon on 18 June with key media representatives from the tourism and trade sectors in Portugal.
The meeting, held at the Siam Square restaurant, was attended by the Thai Ambassador to Portugal, Kanokwan Pengsuwan, and the TAT Representative in Portugal, Rosário Louro, and served as a moment of anticipation for another edition of this festival that is already a reference in Lisbon.
More than a gastronomic experience, it was an opportunity to share the main highlights of the event, reinforcing the enthusiasm and involvement with Thai culture.
The event also featured a presentation of Thailand's new commitment to sustainable tourism, with the launch of 11 low-carbon routes, a proposal that reinforces the destination's commitment to responsible and innovative practices. The most recent data on the Portuguese market was also revealed, which continues to grow, with optimistic forecasts: by the end of 2025, it is expected to exceed 60 thousand Portuguese tourists.
