Between 7 and 15 June 2025, Santarém once again became the epicentre of national agriculture with the 61st edition of the National Agriculture Fair (FNA). An event that continues to highlight the best of the Portuguese countryside, combining tradition, innovation and sustainability.
A highlight was the “Portugal Sou Eu” programme, which reinforced its value and commitment to promoting national products and brands, promoting the best that is made in Portugal and raising awareness among consumers about making more conscious and authentic choices. The “Ovos Matinados” programme, also present, followed the same line of sustainable national appreciation, promoting the consumption and superior quality of eggs from free-range hens.
The FNA remains an essential space for promoting the agricultural sector, bringing together exhibitions of machinery, excellent livestock, unique cultural moments and debates that highlight the main challenges and opportunities of the rural world. Furthermore, in 2025 the fair celebrated its 31 years of history at CNEMA and its vital role in revitalizing Ribatejo, a region that continues to be the beating heart of agriculture in Portugal. An event that has become a celebration of the identity and future of the Portuguese countryside.
