As part of MOTELX 2025, the Portuguese premiere of "A Useful Ghost," the latest sensation in international independent cinema, was held on September 12th at the historic Cinema São Jorge in Lisbon, directed by Ratchapoom Boonbunchachoke.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand in Portugal was present and also participated in the Thai gastronomic cocktail reception that preceded the screening, hosted by the Thai Embassy.

Combining humor, fantasy, and a touch of the absurd, "A Useful Ghost" tells the story of a man who sees his wife reincarnated in a vacuum cleaner. An unlikely yet deeply poetic metaphor, it explores universal themes of love, loss, and coexistence. The film premiered in May at the Cannes Film Festival, where it won the prestigious Grand Prix.
